REVIEW: Faux Paw

 Faux Paw
Author: Sofie Kelly

Faux Paw is the 7th book in the Magical Cats Mystery series.

Ever been part of planning and facilitating a public event that just keeps getting more and more complicated, annoying and difficult? I sure have. In Faux Paw, Librarian Kathleen Paulson is dealing with a library event that is becoming almost more hassle than it's worth.

An art show.

Added security. Juggling an insurance company. A strict contract. The curator is an ever-present and overbearing problem. Constant phone calls. Texts. The issues are just exhausting.

But it gets worse. Add in a theft and a dead body to the list.

Kathleen and her magical cats Hercules and Owen are once again on the trail to catch a killer.

The entire time I was reading this book, I felt sorry for Kathleen. No matter how hard she tried to pull this event together, it went wrong....from the very beginning. We've all been there in one way or another at least once in life....and I remember exactly what it felt like!!

I enjoyed this book. The story kept my attention from start to finish. There were plenty of suspects and some great amateur sleuthing, as usual.Add in some good character development moments and the usual antics of Herc and Owen, and it was a perfect addition to this series!

I'm almost halfway through this series....having a great time!  On to the next book!
